Young Explorers Gather at Scottburgh Mall for the Annual Tour De Pre-School Event
Families and pre-schools from across the mid-South Coast gathered at Scottburgh Mall on Friday afternoon for the much-loved Tour De Pre-School, an event that once again brought energy and excitement to the local community.
Hosted by Umdoni Christian Academy and UCA Pre-School, the event saw young children take to their bikes along a designated route in a fun and relaxed ride that welcomed all skill levels.
The event, which began at 16:30, drew a steady stream of parents and children who were eager to be part of an afternoon centred around play, interaction and community connection. Families enjoyed not only the ride but also a variety of activities set up around the venue.
Beyond the cycling, the atmosphere at the mall was lively, with food stalls, sweet treats and entertainment keeping both children and adults engaged. Raffles and prizes added to the excitement, giving participants even more to look forward to.
Organisers said the goal of the Tour de Pre-School was to create a space where young learners from different schools could meet, have fun and build friendships outside of the classroom. The event also offered parents an opportunity to connect with one another in a relaxed setting.
By the end of the afternoon, the Tour De Pre-School remained a highlight on the local calendar, continuing to grow in popularity with each passing year.
